See what Manchester United legend ‘Paul Scholes’ said after Chelsea thrashed Everton
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes hailed Chelsea as “brilliant” after their 5-0 rout of Everton. Eden Hazard, Marcos Alonso, Pedro and Diego Costa were all on the scoresheet as the Blues went top of the table. Scholes told BT Sport: “Yeah, that was brilliant.
You have to say it was an exhibition at times.
“It was like they were playing a team 10 points adrift at the bottom of the league. “Everton are normally a decent team they can play good football, they’re great in possession usually.
“I think it was 60 per cent possession for Chelsea and you don’t usually see that when you come here. “It’s usually the other team, they like to have possession on the counter-attack, but they were great in possession, winning the ball back and the passing and movement was sensational. “Even we were up here clapping.”
