Rotimi Akeredolu, winner of the 2020 Ondo election has commended Eyitayo Jegede for participating in the gubernatorial election.

He considered Jegede a worth adversary.

He said: "I want to specially commend Eyitayo Jegede for participating in the gubernatorial election.

"I commend his patriotism. His patriotism is not in doubt."
