Not fewer than 40 persons reportedly arrested and blindfolded by Nigeria army and taken Ohafia barrack.

An eyewitness who posted on social media on Sunday evening recounted that the arrest maybe linked to the hunt for members of Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) few days before Enugu incident happened.

Report reads: “The Nigeria military just drove into their barracks in Ohafia this night in their two hilux pick ups fully loaded with some young men all blind folded and their hands tired back wards , actually nobody know where they took them from”.

Reacting to the arrest, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu during his live presentation on Radio Biafra, warned the commander, Brigadier Solomon Tunde of Ohafia barrack to be mindful of those held under his custody for possible “execution”.

Kanu further warned that should anything happen to any of the 40 men allegedly taken to Ohafia barrack on Sunday night, that the commander will be in “serious trouble”.

“This night we are telling amnesty international, are you aware that Fulani has gone out on the streets and have rounded every young men they can see and has taken them to Ohafia barracks to kill them tonight.

“I need the name of the commander in Ohafia Barracks. The man who is going to carry out the execution that the world may know.

“And I want to make it very clear to this idiot called Major Tunde, if anybody gets executed tonight you will have it hot. Anybody who is executed tonight you will die for it.
