Meet Nigerian Goalkeeper Who Was Described As flying Cat By Ghana's Former president Kwame Nkrurmah

The older generation who witnessed the actions of some of Nigeria's 60s Goalkeepers would feed you that there is no goalkeeper today that can beat the records of the old Goalkeepers. But today fans who are the new school generation may feel Vincent Enyeama who helped Nigeria's Super Eagle win the Nations Cup is the best Goalkeeper the country has ever produced.

However, the story of Inua Lawal Rigogo remain a myth. He is perhaps the greatest goalkeeper this country has ever produced. Although, many of the then football fans believed that he usually use charms with the way he flied from Pole to pole and made some unemergeable somersaults that went beyond ordinary. This was why former Ghana's President Kwame Nkrumah gave him the alias called "Flying Cat". Throughout his 8years goalkeeping career as a national team goalkeeper, he conceded just 4 goals. Goalkeeper Rigogo reigned between 1960-1969.

Kindly rate this goalkeeper. Which goalkeeper can fly like him at the International level? Please drop your comments in the comment section below.
