Reveal: Former Arsenal Player Flamini Is World's Wealthiest Footballer

Former France and Arsenal Midfider Mathieu Flamini is the World's wealthiest footballers based on the corporate valuation of his company - GF Biochem (estimates range from $500m to $14bn) with Ronaldo - $450m in second, Beckham - $450m in third and Messi- $400m coming in fourth.


According to Forbes, Flamini's net worth is $14bn. He is the co-owner of GF Biochem, a company that produces Levulinic Acid, a potential a substitute for petrol.


In 2017, GFBiochemicals announced that it will build a cellulosic biorefinery in the US, in partnership with biotech company American Process.


Flamini signed a professional contract for English club Arsenal in July 2004, rejecting Marseille's long-term senior contract offer to which he had already verbally agreed.


Flamini accepted his first call up to France by coach Raymond Domenech for a friendly against Argentina at the Stade de France on 7 February 2007 after Jérémy Toulalan was ruled out due to injury. He later made his international debut in a friendly against Morocco on 16 November 2007 as a substitute.


Flamini was less talented and he made much less than everyone on the list. But he saved and invested his earnings.
